Do I need to be able to surf already?
No, you don’t need any prior surfing experience. Everyone is welcome! You can be absolutely beginner or already a pro surfer.
Do I need to take a surf course?
No, taking a surf course is completely optional. If you’re interested, you can book daily surf lessons for €35 (including surfboard and wetsuit), or a 5-day surf course starting at €150.
What food will be offered?
You’ll be treated to 7 delicious breakfasts and 7 dinners prepared by our personal chef. Enjoy healthy and tasty meals every day!
What rooms are available?
We have cozy twin rooms and 2 deluxe twin rooms with balconies. Each room comes with its own private bathroom. You can book a room with a friend or, if you’re traveling solo, we’ll pair you up with a beautiful soul.
Is it ok to travel solo?
Absolutely! We encourage solo travelers. You’ll join a wonderful group of women, and it’s a fantastic way to make new friends.
What level of yoga do I need to have?
No prior experience is necessary. Our yoga sessions are open to everyone, regardless of their skill level.
Is the retreat in English?
If English-speaking women sign up, we’ll conduct sessions in English to ensure everyone feels included. We welcome everyone, and language shouldn’t be a barrier.
What activities are included?
– daily morning movement sessions (Yoga, Surfer’s Workout, Pilates)
– daily evening movement sessions (Yin Yoga, Stretch, Gentle Movement)
– 1 special cacao ceremony
– Optional massages available at the accommodation for €45 per hour
What is the accommodation like?
Our private villa, ‚Mavericks‘, in Portugal features:
– 5 double rooms with private bathrooms
– A large kitchen where you can prepare your own meals if you wish
– A spacious chill-out area, a large terrace, a private pool, and a dining table for communal meals
Is there an airport shuttle service?
Yes, we offer a group shuttle from Lisbon Airport to the villa for an additional €30 per person (minimum 4 people). Alternatively, you can arrange your arrival independently.
Can I explore the local area?
Definitely! There will be a daily shuttle to the beach, and there’s an opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Lisbon on one of the days.
How do I get to the villa if I don’t use the shuttle service?
You can take a direct bus from Lisbon to Lourinhã, and we’ll pick you up from the Lourinhã bus station for free. Public transport options include:
– Taxi to the main bus station Campo Grande (approx. €8, about 15 minutes)
– Tejo Rapida Azul bus towards Peniche from Campo Grande (€7.40), alight at Lourinhã
– Rede Express bus from Sete Rios bus station to Lourinhã
